Sarah Defriend

Small, blonde, Welsh and squeaky, Sarah Defriend is a Cardiff based freelance designer & Illustrator.  Working in the digital realm, she creates characters, interactive websites and storybooks for a variety of clients including the NHS, S4C and the BBC. Influenced by Christina Rossetti’s 19th century Poem ‘A Goblin Market’ she has created a series of digital illustrations & original paintings that portray the strength and fragility of young women who battle against temptation.
